JESUS city church drive through covid-19 community service food PRODUCE GIVE AWAY
Due to the Covid-19 global crisis; Jesus City Church has decided to do something exciting and challenging – something to help our community and those who may may need fresh food produce at this time..
, we are having our monthly community drive through free produce pick up. Our goal is to promote community awareness to assist families through this stay at home Covid -19 crisis by providing 70 bags/boxes of produce , to be picked up on 1st come, 1st serve basis.
As a multi-racial church this outreach is to show that we care for our community and to help foster interaction across different races that are represented in our church and community. The outreach helps serve our community by cultivating unity and strengthening families assuring them of Jesus's love land care which we bring.
We have been ministering to our community through several outreaches unfailingnly.

- 13yrs + of Feeding @ 3 Down Town locations
- Urban Min Durham
- Old People Home -Old Durham Towers
- Liberty Street Housing -Durham
We held our first monthly fresh produce 70 bags free give a way in 1st weekend in April which was successful.
We are seeking donations towards this Covid-19 Drive through food and Fresh produce give away outreach. Please feel free to partner with us by donating to this cause. The community Jesus city Church Covid-19 Drive Through outreach will hold on the 1st Saturday of every month from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. We will be abiding by the CDC Regulations of safe distance etc. in order to maintain a healthy safety standard our community desperately needs at this time.
